Approved General Meeting Minutes
Minutes from General Meetings are approved each month by the PTO Board.
Through Parkview PTO you have an opportunity to use prepaid gift cards (SCRIP) at many local retailers and grocers and earn money for the school. 4%-10% of your SCRIP purchase is donated to the PTO by supporting businesses. Make SCRIP a part of your regular shopping and support Parkview at no additional cost to you.
Scrip Orders are processed on the first Thursday of each month. Orders received after that time will be processed the following month.
Each year through Jog-a-thon! pledges our students and their families fund the majority of the educational support PTO provides at Parkview with a goal this year of raising $28,000. This fundraiser helps finance everything from After School Enrichment to Family Fun Nights, from the Garden Education to Healthy Snacks to Field Equipment, Field Trips and so much more all that enhance your family’s public education experience. Not only does Jog-a-thon! support students, but it serves as a great chance to work together to improve school for all students.
Social and silent auction
The social is a great way to kick off the year and for everyone in a comfortable, off-campus, family-friendly setting. It's also an opportunity to auction off some great experiences & raise funds for field trips for each grade level and other programs funded by your PTO.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Parkview PTO has developed a process for funding requests from teachers, families, or other interested individuals or groups. Proposals may be for projects, events, activities, books, equipment or anything that enhances the academic lives of children and/or builds community at Parkview. While preference is given to proposals that offer school-wide access, teachers and/or parents are also encouraged to submit proposals that will benefit their individual classrooms or grade level. Review of proposals will take place on a schedule determined by the PTO board members. Please place your completed form in the PTO mailbox in the school office. A sub-committee of the PTO will review requests. We look forward to hearing about your project!
